Job Purpose: Coordinate key procedures and applications associated with the Information Security functions, relating to the development and implementation of disaster recovery plans.

Job Responsibilities: 1. Review all new ICT projects to identify security weaknesses in procedures and processes. 2. Ensure that all new ICT projects are compliant from an audit and regulation perspective. 3. Develop a security awareness plan and manage its deployment. 4. Serve as a contact point for all ICT security related queries and incidents. 5. Develop an incident response plan and ensure resources are in place for it to function correctly. 6. Interact with various Departments to identify any security risks in their business units. 7. Investigate phishing attacks. 8. Proactively manage ICT security software solutions at various clients. 9. Monitor and ensure efficiency of network systems and connected sources. 10. Monitor and provide appropriate response to switch and network alarming systems via assessment of customer impact. 11. Assist employees with installation of network controls and provide maintenance for all LAN systems and provide support to given projects.

Role Requirements: Grade12, National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or equivalent qualification, Computer literacy: MS Office, 2 - 5 years’ experience in Information Technology, Valid driver’s license, and CompTIA Security+ will be an added advantage.
